Apple tart with Lotus Biscoff
Once the delicious smell fills the house, you know apple pie and Lotus Biscoff were born for each other. In the oven, the aroma develops into a spicy scent that evokes the festive season.

• 250 g flour
• 130 g sugar
• 175 g butter, softened
• 4 tsp ground cinnamon
• 2 eggs
• 1 kg apples
• 250 g Lotus Biscoff biscuits

Preheat the oven to 170°C.

Knead the flour, 80 g sugar, the butter, 1 tsp cinnamon and 1,5 eggs until you have a smooth dough.

Roll out three-quarters of the dough and use to line a greased pie dish.

Peel the apples and cut them into fine slices. Scatter 3 tsp cinnamon, 50 g sugar and the crumbled Biscoff over them (adjust the amount of Biscoff to your own taste).

Put the apples into the dish.

Roll out the rest of the dough, cut into strips and use to cover the apples in a grid pattern.

Beat the remaining ½ egg and paint the dough strips with it. Bake the tart in the oven for 60 to 65 minutes.
